History and Background

Deendar Anjuman: A Divine Movement for Islam

In the early 1920s, a turbulent period arose in Malkhana (North India), marked by the mass conversion of Muslims into the Hindu fold. This critical time in India’s religious landscape came to be known as the “Period of Irtidad,” a time of apostasy and division among the Muslims. Amid this, Siddique Deendar emerged as a beacon of faith, proclaiming that he had been divinely appointed by Allah as the reincarnation of Channabasveshwar, destined to guide all Hindus to Islam.

This claim was not made in whim; it was supported by numerous signs and prophecies found in Hindu religious texts. Despite facing fierce opposition from various Hindu groups such as the LingayatsAryaSamajists, and Sanatanists, Siddique Deendar’s vision remained clear and resolute.

In 1924, driven by a divine revelation that “All India will become Muslim,” Siddique Deendar founded Deendar Anjuman. This movement is not just a human idea but a spiritual mission, rooted in divine will and the inspiration of  Ilhaam (revelation). The formation of Deendar Anjuman was, in essence, a response to the Shuddhi Movement initiated by the AryaSamaj, which sought to convert Muslims back to Hinduism. In response, Deendar Anjuman stood firm in its mission to guide non-Muslims to the true faith of Islam.

Who We Are

At Deendar Anjuman, we are devout followers of Islam, firmly believing in the Oneness of Allah and the finality of Prophet Muhammad (SAW). We believe that Allah has chosen us to carry His message to the world. Our purpose is clearly stated in the Quran:

“Thus have We  made of you a justly balanced Ummah, that you might be witnesses over the nations, and the Prophet a witness over you.”
(Surah Al-Baqarah, Verse 143)

We do not condone sectarianism of any kind within the Muslim UmmahDeendar Anjuman believes in peaceful cooperation and unity, embracing the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as the Final and Last Authority on religion. In our belief, all who uphold the pillars of Islam—praying towards the Qiblah, believing in Allah, and accepting the finality of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW)—are Muslims.

We strongly reject the concept of sectarian divisions and believe in the Two Nation Theory: one nation that believes in Allah and His Messenger, and the other that does not.

Founder of Anjuman clearly declared that:

“Any one who believes in oneness of Allah and Finality of the prophet-hood of his beloved messenger Hazrat Mohammad (S.A.W), he is Muslim”.

He further says: “I do believe that having any claim on Muslim is just a Zindiqiat (Lie)”

Mission and Targets

Since its inception, Deendar Anjuman has remained unwavering in its mission, as established by Molana Siddique Deendar Channabasveshwar. Our mission is not new or divisive; rather, it is grounded in the divine command of spreading Islam to complete the faith of non-Muslims, as laid out in the Quran:

“You are the best of people, evolved for mankind, enjoining what is right, forbidding what is wrong, and believing in Allah.”
(Surah Al-Imran, Verse 110)

We regard Prophet Muhammad (SAW) as the World Teacher, the leader to whom all nations awaited guidance, despite His advent centuries ago. This organization is not a mere movement; it is the fulfillment of the divine message: “Hindustan Will Become Muslim.”

Thus, our primary target is to spread Islam and complete the religion for non-Muslims. We are devoted to this cause, dedicating our lives for preaching of Islam. Our concept of Jihad differs from misinterpretations commonly understood. We believe that Jihad can only occur after Islam has been presented to others in a peaceful and respectful manner, adhering strictly to the principles laid out in the Quran.

Those who follow Molana Siddique Deendar Channabasveshwar (RA) are known as Mubaligh-e-Islam, devoting themselves to the cause with no worldly desires, having sold themselves to Allah in exchange for the eternal rewards of Jannah (Heaven) as described in the Quran (Surah At-Tawbah, Verse 111). These preachers are on a mission to engage humanity, offering dialogue on issues such as human rightsglobal peace, and the development of humanity through the teachings of Islam.

On special occasions, we organize lectures and discussions, during which our preachers deliver speeches based on the teachings of Quran, Hadith, and history.

Inspiration

The movement is inspired by the Quran, the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and the writings and teachings of Aulia Allah (the saints of Islam). These sources form the spiritual and intellectual foundation of its work.

Sources of Inspiration and Information

Information

In addition to Islamic sources, the movement draws from the holy scriptures of Hindus (such as the Vedas, Shastras, Puranas, and Kalignans) as well as the scriptures of Buddhists, Parsis, Christians, and Jews. The Deendar Anjuman’s approach is inclusive, using these texts to engage in interfaith dialogue and dispel misconceptions about Islam.

A Global Mission for Peace and Unity

"Our Commitment to Spreading the True Message of Islam"

The Deendar Anjuman is not affiliated with any specific sect of Islam. We are proud to be Muslims and our mission remains clear

  • To make India Muslim and spread the message of Islam to every corner of the world.
  • To continue preaching Islam and Jihad as peaceful, spiritual tools for global transformation.
  • Our faith in the Oneness of Allah and the Finality of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is our guiding light, and we are committed to fulfilling our divine duty with sincerity and dedication.

We welcome all to join us in this noble cause for a peaceful and harmonious world, united under the banner of Islam.

The founder of Deendar Anjuman proposed the solution to the problems faced by the Muslim world in the present era, which is to propagate Islam (Tabligh) among the infidels and Jihad against the infidels.
